iAE Edu Net Vancouver Ltd. is looking for qualified teachers wishing to go overseas and teach English in Korea. To apply, teachers must have been born in a country where English is the native language, hold at least a four year bachelor's degree, and be willing to immerse themselves in a new culture. TESL certification or prior teaching experience is an advantage but not a requirement. Teachers will receive round trip airfare, along with accommodation and medical coverage while in Korea. Job description and benefits are as follows: Salary : between 2,000,000W~2,100,000W per monthHousing: fully furnished (single or shared depending on the school Working hours: 15:00~22:00 or 16:00~22:00 (depending on the school) Paid vacation : 10 days + national holidays (may vary slightly depending on the school) Airfare: Round trip (either prepaid or to be reimbursed upon arrival) Medical Coverage: Costs for this will be at least partially covered by the employer (50% by the employer and 50% by the teacher, or 100% by the employer depending on the school) The documents requirements to get a work visa are as follows: 1. Original 4 year university degree (or an official copy notarized by the Korean Embassy)2. A sealed copy of one's complete university transcripts 3. 3 passport size photos 4. Resume 5. Copy of the front page of one's passport 6. Signed Contract The entire application and visa procedure is as follows: 1. A teaching position becomes available.2. The teacher submits his/her resume to iae_canada@hotmail.com or elliott@eduhouse.net 3. The teacher has an interview with members of the iAE staff here in Vancouver, as well as an interview with the Korean recruiter (by phone or webcam). 4. The teacher reviews and signs the employment contract. 5. The teacher sends the documents required to apply for a work visa to Korea. (The teacher is responsible for sending these documents and must pay any expenses for mail or express mail). 6. Korean company issues the contract certificate number for an E-2 Visa. (This process usually takes 5-7 business days, but at times it can take up to 2 weeks). 7. The teacher receives the contract certificate number from the office at iAE. 8. The teacher applies for an E2 visa at the Korean Embassy in Vancouver (this takes 4-5 business days). 9. The teacher confirms his/her flight schedule. 10. The teacher arrives in Korea. The Korean company will arrange to pick the teacher up at the airport, and drive the teacher to his/her accommodation.
